Vegan Peanut Butter Berry Protein Smoothie

Quick. Delicious. Healthy. Nutrient and protein-packed. Is there anything more that needs to be said about this smoothie? There are a million smoothie combos but this is one of my favorites to start the day, after a workout or as a light pick-me-up snack. For a kickass breakfast add some avocado toast on the side with agave or honey if you’re feeling sweet or red pepper flakes if you’re feelin’ spicy.

Total Time: 10 min

Yields: 16 fl oz


2 scoops organic vegan protein powder

1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk

2 spoonfuls organic peanut butter

1/2 cup frozen berries (this one had a mix of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries & raspberries)

2 tsp coconut flakes

1 tsp flax seeds


1. Add 1 cup of the almond milk followed by the protein powder. Then, add the frozen berries, coconut flakes and flax seeds. Add the rest of the almond milk on top - I find this sequence mixes up all the ingredients the best!

2. Voilà! It’s that simple. The rest is for you to enjoy!
